It depends on what your goal is.
If you want to be a stylist/aethetician/makeup artist and get in that line of work, then there is cosmetology school. This is not a university/college career path.
If you want to be a fashion designer then there are art schools, college and fine arts colleges/universities.
If you want to improve your own appearance, then there are any number of fashion magazines, beauty shops, and cosmetics counters who's clerks can help you find/refine your look and appearance.Where would one go to learn more about makeup and hair?
they have schools for that or if your still in high school you could go to a tech school
The people at Sephora and department stores like Nordstroms and Neimun Marcus know a lot. Just ask them a few questions, you'd be suprised.
You know I am not sure where you are located but you could just try typing in a search for the question you ask but add your location. It is a wonderful idea and I would like to go to one myself. I did find this site online that might be helpful !

You can look in the yellow Pages for schools that have ';Hair dressing School classes';.
You can also ask to volunteer or work part-time in a Hair Salon to learn some tools.
Note: the bottom one is an online course or you can learn from Youtube.

I dont know where u live, but u should work at ur local ULTA, i am a hairdresser there, and ive learned so much about makeup, now if u want to make a career out of it., u have to go to cosmetology schoo. (hair school but they teach makeup there) , then you take an state board exam, if u pass u get ur state license after completing your required hours (NY is 1000 hours)

Im wearing a gold wedding dress for my wedding and doing my makeup and hair myself what should i do?
Im getting married in africa next year, my wedding dress is gold and so are my shoes, I have sholder lenght hair whitch i am growning for my wedding. I am wearing a vail without a tearria.

i wore gold dress too. I had shorter hair then bit shorter than shoulder length, but I had it flicked out and a tiara type pearl head thingy. Vail will mess up the hair eventually but I would curl it and get it pinned around the vail, if that makes sense.
Make up, I did too, used a lovely Number 7 trio, gold and brown, mainly gold and brown on the edges. Did quite light foundation as you will such a natural glow on the day. Kept my lips natural looking too.

We were in Kenya in Mombasa (bamburi beach hotel) and we met a couple who were there to get married, we actually ended up going to the wedding in the Whitesands Hotel! It was beautiful but very very hot! The bride had long blonde hair which she had piled up on her head in a very nice ';up do'; she just put some tinted moisturiser on and clear lip gloss and the sun did the rest! I was wearing a full length skirt and linen blouse and just wanted to jump in the pool (it was about 42 Celsius) The month was February, so as I said depends on when, cos the last thing you want is make up running down your face and looking smeary in the photo's! If you are spending a few days there before the wedding the sun will give you a natural glow (just don't forget the suncream)

I wore a button down white shirt, black pin stripe pencil skirt and wide black belt. For shoes, I wore black mary jane manolo's. For jewlery, I wore some pearl studs and a silver chain necklace with a single pearl on it. I wore my hair down with a black headband.
You could do that, or black slacks and a button down shirt, or maybe a sweater.

best bet for court is to dress like you're going to a job interview. wear something conservative and modest, not too much makeup. your husband is being judged and you are too.

Maybe a touch of delicate, pretty, silver jewelry, or pearls. Like someone else suggested, a cross is always a plus (but dont wear it if it would be falsely representing you)

For hair...You could either wear it up, or down in loose waves.

Im bored with my style and looking for a new one... trying searching google or whatever for ';medium layered cuts'; and youll get tons of sites that will help!
As far as make up is concerned, its more based on your eye shape than your face shape.

I'd like to see more hair tutorials, that are more unique and don't require a straightener or a curling iron, like a more natural kind of hair style.
And for makeup tutorials, i would like to see more natural makeup that looks less cakey. More .. neutral colors that look good, and don't require eyeliner .. mascara. . ect. None of that liquid stuff. No foundation .. just some nice eyeshadow colors that go together and some nice powder/ veil that smooths and hides blemishes on face.

How do you install use downloaded clothes, makeup, and hair for The Sims 2?

Mmmkay,
So just like have a lighter color hair. Get some side swept bangs, but don't have them cover your eye. Tease the side of the hair. You can highlights, but just get the tips. Don't wear a lot of makeup. You can wear foundation (powder;e.l.f cosmetics) a very light color lip gloss. I usually wear skinny jeans with like an Abercrombie knit. Its kinda what you are looking for. Don't just wear all these dark; depressing colors. Bright is cute. Especially with totes.

Easy on the makeup some simple nide eye shadow with natrual-ish eyeliner and some plain chapstick and a little bit of rosy blush.
For your make up do a natural look or something, and is you want to add a little bit of edgyness to it, just add a littlebit of brown(and for the lips do a cute light pink). And for the cloths just wear some casual jeans and a hollister or abercrombie and fitch shirt! And mabey some cute flats or something....

Oops, that outfit that girl made was SO plain... i think you should apply blusher starting at the corners of your mouth in a direct line towards your temples... that should make your face look slimmer. You can wear any color eyeshadow as you're a dark eyed chick... Jus don't go too dark as you're small eyed, try to go nude. (But if we're talking about a sparkling deep turqoise, than go for it, girrl!!) Try to open up your eyes with white or golden eyeliner. Flaunt your skin tone by using a lil' bit of shimmer at your cleavage, and legs and arms, maybe. But just a little. as you're skinny, you can pull of almost any type of clothes. Your top seems to be bigger than your bottom, so flaunt your thin legs with mini skirts. Also baggy clothes on skinny people look very edgy. As for hair, I'd recommend layers for round face, but you've already got them. So, do any hair style you like. You can wear any color eyeshadow as you're a dark eyed chick... Jus don't go too dark as you're small eyed, try to go nude. (But if we're talking about a sparkling deep turqoise, than go for it, girrl!!) Try to open up your eyes with white or golden eyeliner. Flaunt your skin tone by using a lil' bit of shimmer at your cleavage, and legs and arms, maybe. But just a little. as you're skinny, you can pull of almost any type of clothes. Your top seems to be bigger than your bottom, so flaunt your thin legs with mini skirts. Also baggy clothes on skinny people look very edgy. As for hair, I'd recommend layers for round face, but you've already got them. So, do any hair style you like. If the back is a low cut , you can do a half up style or all up if it is formal, if it is semi formal all down is okay as well, tumbling curls would be beautiful with some bangs hanging down.

A nice smokey eye with dark grays and silvers, with a light pink cheek and lips, maybe nude lips what ever would look better with your skin tone. If you use false lashes that look natural to enhance your lash line it would look amazing as well!!!!

i would say leave the hair down and put in soft curls. i usually wash my hair, let it air dry for 20 minutes then put it in a high messy bun and tease the crown of my hair do theres volume at the top and bottom. then leave it in for several hours [overnight is best] and you hair should be damp to almost dry. then spray the bottom of the hair with garniers wonder waves wave-enhancing spray which is really light. and then spray the crown with garniers XXL root booster which is a volumizing hair spray thats thick and kinda gelly but does volumize. this kinda gives you the mermaid-y look that goes with your dress for a beachy but classy hairdo.
for makeup i think nude lips or normal colored lips is good. i like using a chapstick before applying lip makeup like carmex or use an alternative like a moisturizing lipstick like covergirls moisturizing lipstick which is the clear stuff that you normally use over a 24-hour colored lipstick. that clear moisturizing stick can be used alone for natural but soft lips that makes your lips shiny and glossy that also plumps the lips too or as a base for colored lip makeup. the nude color i like is estee lauders ultra brilliance high gloss in 03 honey thats a really shimmery but pretty nude color if your a bit tan like i am. i would use a compact to even out your skin tone, i like using covergirls freshlook in 320 translucent honey but idk how tan you are. umm then use a loose brush to dust on a bit [and i stress a little bit because you dont want to look too shimmery] of bronzing powder like NYCs sun 2 sun bronzing powder in bronze gold over your face and also maybe your neckline for an all over glow. eyes ummm, mascara of course, i like using maybellines define a lash volume mascara hydrofuged [waterproof] which is a hot pink tube in very black on top and bottom lashes [2 coats] then go over it with lash blast luxe in any of the colors except black cabernet because black cabernet is a red shimmery mascara while the other 3 [black platinum, black emerald and black royale] could match your dress. i personally like black platinum because it goes with everything and it comes in a bigger pink tube. i would use covergirls perfect blend kohl eyeliner pencil and then maybe a pretty green, dark blue, or smoky eye shadow since these colors maybe go with your dress and would kinda go with a mermaid-y theme- but thats just me :]

for makeup i think nude lips or normal colored lips is good. i like using a chapstick before applying lip makeup like carmex or use an alternative like a moisturizing lipstick like covergirls moisturizing lipstick which is the clear stuff that you normally use over a 24-hour colored lipstick. that clear moisturizing stick can be used alone for natural but soft lips that makes your lips shiny and glossy that also plumps the lips too or as a base for colored lip makeup. the nude color i like is estee lauders ultra brilliance high gloss in 03 honey thats a really shimmery but pretty nude color if your a bit tan like i am. i would use a compact to even out your skin tone, i like using covergirls freshlook in 320 translucent honey but idk how tan you are. umm then use a loose brush to dust on a bit [and i stress a little bit because you dont want to look too shimmery] of bronzing powder like NYCs sun 2 sun bronzing powder in bronze gold over your face and also maybe your neckline for an all over glow. eyes ummm, mascara of course, i like using maybellines define a lash volume mascara hydrofuged [waterproof] which is a hot pink tube in very black on top and bottom lashes [2 coats] then go over it with lash blast luxe in any of the colors except black cabernet because black cabernet is a red shimmery mascara while the other 3 [black platinum, black emerald and black royale] could match your dress. i personally like black platinum because it goes with everything and it comes in a bigger pink tube. i would use covergirls perfect blend kohl eyeliner pencil and then maybe a pretty green, dark blue, or smoky eye shadow since these colors maybe go with your dress and would kinda go with a mermaid-y theme- but thats just me :]

When I last went skiing, I wore my hair in a ponytail and wrapped an ear-warmer around my head, like, the kind that are like big headbands. If you look good in a hat, wear a hat and let your hair just stick out under, maybe in pigtails or something. If you wear your hair down, it'll just get SO messy and stuck with moisture, that it's not worth it.
If you don't wear goggles or ski-glasses, your eyes will be watering a LOT, so don't wear eye makeup unless you've got eyewear. If you are wearing goggles or ski-glasses, then go ahead and wear eyeliner and waterproof lash stuff. Nothing too fancy, you are skiing after all! Be sure to wear concealer and a foundation with SUNBLOCK! Your skin can get mad sunburn because of the reflection off the snow. Even if it's cloudy, you'll be outside longer than you're used to, and your skin needs protecting. Blush is pointless because you'll probably be nice and rosy-cheeked naturally. If you want to put on a little, just for the beginning, there's nothing wrong with it. Don't bother with lipstick - just get some really good chapstick with sunblock to protect those lips from wind/sunburn.

You can never go wrong with a low chignon and smokey eyes. You can do a smokey eye in a deep purple or navy blue to follow the trends seen on the runways this spring. Use a nude lipstick like MAC's myth and a subtle gloss. As far as your eyebrows as long as they are neat and shaped I would do nothing to them besides some clean gel to set them.

Don't use a straightening iron to do your makeup lol JK! With a straightner you just can't hold it in one place for too long or you will get kinks and don't use it at the hottest setting! I have dark brown hair, fair skin, green eyes, and freckles. I personally think you should accent your main features. Freckles are very sexy these days, just like the girl on 'Lost' who they nicked-name freckles. Don't try and cover up your freckles by using too much foundation, this can leave an orangy look on your skin. Always use a moisturizer before applying foundation. I actually found using foundation as a teenager helped prevent pimples. I find pollution was the cause of my pimples. Filling your pores with moisturizer before going outdoor will prevent the dirt and grim from settling into your pores.
Again, your eyes are another main feature. Use a fine eyeliner in brown on your top eyelid only (careful not to pull the skin in the eye area this will lead to wrinkles). Don't put eyeliner on the bottom lid, it looks a little scanky. Use mascara on upper and lower lashes, this will help accent your eyes. You may not even need the liner, mascara might be enough. Lipgloss is good with a little color, but not too much gloss, that it leaves gooy strings in between your lips everytime you open your mouth (I can't tell how embarassing that can be). If you are going to use hightlighter, use it sparaningly, not like foundation. Use it just below the brow, this will give your brow a lift. Did you know that high forheads are very atractive. A lot of models have large foreheads. Bangs are always good for a large forehead. Don't ever over due it with the makeup. Makeup is used to help accents your best features not hide them. And you don't ever want to look like a Christmas trees or raccoon eyes (oh, high school memories, and class pictures that I never ever want to see again). You should never have a makeup line between your chin and your neck. If that is the case you are using too much makeup.

How to deal with difficult makeup and hair?
When i walk to school, it gets very humid. Making my hair from a deceit size volume to flat and it curls, How can i avoid this from happening. I get up at 6 Am not to have my hair fall apart an hour later, Also with the humidity it causes my makeup to sort of melt away. I do use liquid and then a powder to cover. I want to look fresh all say and not something out of a circus. Please help me with my hair and face.

For your eyeshadow, use a white gold on your lids, a brown on your outter corner, a whiteish color on your brow bone (not pure white, opt for a champagne or use that same white gold color), and a lighter brown on your crease, and finally use a champagne color eye shadow on the inner corner of your eyes, to make the shape of your eyes really pop. Use a dark brown eyeliner to rim your bottom eyes, then finally Curl your eyelashes, then apply two coats of black mascara on top and bottom lashes. Okay, here are two ways I do my makeup. (I have fair/beige skin, brown hair and brown eyes.)
EVERYDAY
1.Gray eyeliner (black can be too harsh) on the bottom and top of your eyes.
2. Very subtle blush on your cheekbones.
3. Waterproof black mascara on your top and bottom eyelashes.
4 Clear gloss.
5. Light gray eyeshadow.
PARTIES
1. Brown eyeliner (top and bottom)
2. Gold eyeshadow on eyelid and under eye.
3. Gold lip gloss with sparkle (I love Juicy Pineapple at Bath and Body Works).
4. Light pink blush with a little sparkle.
I know how you feel about your hair. If your hair is frizzy and curly like mine, leave in your conditioner for everyday (Garnier Strength and Repair works great), but if you're going somewhere, straighten it. Be sure to put a lot of protecting cream on your hair before you straighten it though, because I used to straighten my hair all the time and now it's short in some places and I have a lot of split ends.

In the morning before school i don't have time to put on a lot of makeup so i've sort of developed my own routine.
I put on a strip of black liquid on my top lid, use two colour eyeshadow(usually reds and blacks) and blend and then use pencil on my bottom lid and waterline.
then i put on my concealer, foundation and blush.
If everything goes according to plan then it should only take 15Min's and its It usually looks good.
As for your hair..
I have very frizzy curly hair so i straighten it and put in some extensions, that's the only advice i can give you lol.
BUT if you have nice curls dont straighten it,
I hate good curls going to waste, hehe (:
foundation because my face gets random pimples that i obviously wanna cover up.
bronzer because im prett pale. i use Victoria's Secret very sexy bronzer its my fave the only one i use :]]
