I use a lot of make up but that's just me. not a lot of teens in my school wear a lot of make up a little mascara and liner and definitely lip gloss and basically anything that makes thier lips shiny and sparkly. As for hair all I see is long layered hair. usually a little lower then their shoulders and it is all wispy layers. Since your hair is a little wavy it might add a little volume to the style and will flip the ends of the layers out.What is good makeup and hair styles for teens?
I would wear mascara and maybe eye liner if you would like and a light color of eye shadow. Don't put too much or it will look weird. Since you are a teen, try not to put too dark of a color of eye shadow and don't put too much.

How long do you spend on makeup and hair every day?
I am only 14 and i spend about an hour on it. Am i wearing to much makeup. I wear mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow a little not like bright blue a white, glittery eyeliner, foundation, concealer, lip gloss. Then i straighten my hair and like comb it for 20 mins.How long do you spend on makeup and hair every day?
i'm 17. i keep things neutral.
chapstick + eyeliner. prob 2 mins.

I wash my hair at night and let it dry while i'm sleeping, and that alone takes a good 30min. I let my hair do it's natural thing prob.2-3 times a week. So total every morning I only spend 30min on my hair, make up, and deciding what to wear. Play around with the way you do things see if there are some things you could do differently to save time.

I have always been a fan of lady sovereign. I love her hair and the way she does her makeup. Her eye makeup always looks so nice and her hair is always in place. It's a halter top. (empire waist)
The top is green, like a nice bright green. Reminds you of spring.
Then the bottom is very flowy and kind of creamy white. There are flowers big and bright by the hem and go up about half way.
I have a monolid (asian eyes) and my hair is just past shoulder length by a bit. And my hair is straight, like most Asians :P.

Then the bottom is very flowy and kind of creamy white. There are flowers big and bright by the hem and go up about half way.

Maybe not bangs, but layers around your face that can be side swept. Basically, yes, they are long bangs, but they sweep to the side and don't hang in your face. It conceals a bit of forehead, though.
Also, contouring. Buy a good bronzing powder with NO sparkles in it. Use a large powder brush to sweep color along your hairline/edges of your face. This will darken the outside of your forehead making it appear smaller. It really works!!!! If you can't figure out how to do it, most make-up consultants do.
You can part your hair to the side and have it come across your face.

Then get a shimmery blue or silver and apply it on top. Then close your eyes and spray hairspray on each eye from a 30 cm distance, be careful. If you have time, I would suggest you go through a few magazines, they have plenty of hair style mags in the store, just thumb through a few. Or go online and google in sexy hair do's, formal hair do's. Or go to your stylist and ask her to try a few out on you. If your dance is at night, you want to play up your eyes with dark smokey colors and dark coated sexy lashes. Any fashion mag hast tips and pics to help you pick out a great look. I like to use a dark liner on the lash line, with a neutral color covering the lower part of my lid, then a dark color on the outer edge of the eyelid and blend together with a slightly lighter color in the crease. Make up counters at the malls can help you achieve this look as well. And as always, google in sexy make up, or how to achieve the celeb look. Good luck!!!!

you can first curl your hair. if you can get some streak into it. blonde of purple will look beautiful. for the makeup use something light but stand out. use some miscara. use some blush. for your skin use some bronze if you have some. the clothes......ummm.....wear a lime green shirt with a with a purple jumple that has a zip and zip it half way. wear a long blue or any other colour necklace. then for the bottoms wear skinny jeans with some ballet flats( if you are not sure what are ballet flats or what ballets flats look like. go to google images and type in ballet flats.) GOOD LUCK!
- Hair: wash your hair and condition it the night before the first day of school. braid it into pigtails (french braids will create a subtle wave, while braids from the ears down will give a perfected wave), and let it sit overnight. in the morning, take out your braids and rub a small amount of anti-frizz serum into your palms. smooth over your hair. you can wear a headband that matches your outfit, or use a ribbon as a headband.
- Makeup: wash your face and put on a non-oily moisturizer. start with a foundation only where you need it and apply with a sponge (try the round ones from sephora. they are about $4 per pack, and they come with four sponges). next, apply bronzer (again, try sephora. ask one of the employees for a good bronzer under $20) with a brush on your cheekbones, the bridge of your nose, and on your hairline to give a natural glow. because my bronzer is a powder, i can use that as eyeshadow, too, without it looking too overdone. now add your favorite mascara. now add some lip balm (it doenst have to have color. the natural look is best for the first day of school)
- Clothes: its pretty much up to you. it depends on where you live, especially. i live in texas, and when i start school at the end of august, its still blazing hot. i would suggest grey plaid shorts that fall just above the knee a cute t-shirt, a long necklace to match, and flip-flops.

- Clothes: its pretty much up to you. it depends on where you live, especially. i live in texas, and when i start school at the end of august, its still blazing hot. i would suggest grey plaid shorts that fall just above the knee a cute t-shirt, a long necklace to match, and flip-flops.

I have always been a fan of lady sovereign. I love her hair and the way she does her makeup. Her eye makeup always looks so nice and her hair is always in place. Great question i have a friend with the same problem and she also hates bangs if you think it works part your hair to the side have it sweep across your face or just have strands of hair hang down to draw away the attention. You can also draw away the attention of a high forhead by dressing up your eyes and make up mostly eyes and lips try fashion magazins for hints and tips to help like when you go out wear a darkish eyeshadow and eyeliner on the top and bottom this will draw attention (good Atttention) to your eyes and not your forhead also try a nice nutral lipgloss of lipstick that hass a pop to it too
Maybe not bangs, but layers around your face that can be side swept. Basically, yes, they are long bangs, but they sweep to the side and don't hang in your face. It conceals a bit of forehead, though.
Also, contouring. Buy a good bronzing powder with NO sparkles in it. Use a large powder brush to sweep color along your hairline/edges of your face. This will darken the outside of your forehead making it appear smaller. It really works!!!! If you can't figure out how to do it, most make-up consultants do.
You can part your hair to the side and have it come across your face.

I have the ugliest high forehead ever!!! The only thing I've been able to do is to wear bangs. I can't let my hair grow out because while it's growing (well, the bangs at least) the hair is all down in my eyes and really bothers me. Plus while it's growing the forehead shows.
The worst part is being out in public and the wind blowing!!!! The hair sweeps up exposing that big forehead and I'm embarrassed!
baby spice has a really high forehead, so just look at pics of how she wears her hair. I have a slightly high forhead and one thing i will say, is never EVER wear your heair back in a tight, slicked back pony tail, looks awful! side fringes are good. and fake tan really works for me.

Get a side parting with fringe that goes over. It looks great and hides your high forehead. Hhaa.
get a fringe cut that sits to the side, it will look mature as that is the style that alot of women have. Alternatively ask your hairdresser what style suits you best

Great question i have a friend with the same problem and she also hates bangs if you think it works part your hair to the side have it sweep across your face or just have strands of hair hang down to draw away the attention. You can also draw away the attention of a high forhead by dressing up your eyes and make up mostly eyes and lips try fashion magazins for hints and tips to help like when you go out wear a darkish eyeshadow and eyeliner on the top and bottom this will draw attention (good Atttention) to your eyes and not your forhead also try a nice nutral lipgloss of lipstick that hass a pop to it too
Maybe not bangs, but layers around your face that can be side swept. Basically, yes, they are long bangs, but they sweep to the side and don't hang in your face. It conceals a bit of forehead, though.
Also, contouring. Buy a good bronzing powder with NO sparkles in it. Use a large powder brush to sweep color along your hairline/edges of your face. This will darken the outside of your forehead making it appear smaller. It really works!!!! If you can't figure out how to do it, most make-up consultants do.
You can part your hair to the side and have it come across your face.

I have the ugliest high forehead ever!!! The only thing I've been able to do is to wear bangs. I can't let my hair grow out because while it's growing (well, the bangs at least) the hair is all down in my eyes and really bothers me. Plus while it's growing the forehead shows.
The worst part is being out in public and the wind blowing!!!! The hair sweeps up exposing that big forehead and I'm embarrassed!
baby spice has a really high forehead, so just look at pics of how she wears her hair. I have a slightly high forhead and one thing i will say, is never EVER wear your heair back in a tight, slicked back pony tail, looks awful! side fringes are good. and fake tan really works for me.

ok, then, your skin, hair tones are just like me. for more silkier hair, try Garnier fructis split ends treatment mostourizer. (its not only for split ends, but helps your hair calm down.)
then. try tresemme mousse, ( very helpful for frizzy, rough hair).
try using dove shampoo, or any products from dove, because dove is made for smooth hair.
for skin, try revlon products or even covergirl. Any make up products for skin, wil work for our skin, so, get any product and try. but, you should try the shimmer powder to wear everyday. it is not glitter, but it brings the bronze tone of our skin.

It isnt a formal dance or anything just something to say, ' yay we survived the first week of school'; and I want to have something fun to do with my hair and makeup.

You can buy rinse out permanent hair dye at any drugstore. put some crazy streaks in (I would suggest pink, purple, lime green, or orange) and then put your hair up in a messy bun.
Try some bright eye liner and eye shadow... and contrast it with your hair.
(purple hair, orange eyes, ya know....)
or go for one color all around, like chose purple and green clothing and go for the look all across your body.
purple shoes, green jeans, purple top with a green undershirt, green eye liner, purple shadow, purple hair. :D
