How can I do my hair/makeup to look mature for a babysitting job interview?

I want to appear mature and sophisticated for my babysitting job interview. I'm in high school so nothing like old ladyish. I already have an outfit picked out, it's a 3/4 sleeve maroon top and a pair of dark jeans, but are flip flops okay? what kind of shoes should I wear? How can I do my hair/makeup to look mature for a babysitting job interview?
I would just go easy on the make up and wear your hair fairly natural. As a mom I wouldn't hire a babysitter who was too over the top. Don't try and look too sophisticated or mature or you may turn some people off. As far as the flip flops I would go with different shoes. You can still wear open toe, just not as casual as flip flops. Good luck! How can I do my hair/makeup to look mature for a babysitting job interview?
Baby Sitter Jobs are usually reserved for responsible teens. Just dress on the conservative side for your age group. Nice shirt and pants or skirt. Nothing low rider or midriff. You want the parents to know they are leaving their child with someone responsible not trying to try out for American Idol.

Good luck. Take the Job seriously. I still remember my babysitter. She was nice.
Don't wear flips, wear sneakers instead. Your hair should be plaited or tied back NEATLY, but mostly its what you say that will get you the job. You need to impress upon them that you are prim, proper, very sensible and trust worthy.

Now go get em!
it's only a babysitting job you don't need sophisticated make-up.
I say put you're hair in a pony tail and pull it loose, so you have a loose pony tail. And weal very little makeup, like a bit of light pink eyeshadow and some gloss. You want to look like a young adult, who kids will like! :D
You might consider wearing this kind of makeup:

For lips:A pale soft pink lip gloss(nothing to dramatic)

For eyes:A golden light brown eyeshadow(don't wear something black or blue)

For your cheeks:Use a really light red blush(don't use orange)

For your face:Use a foundation right for your skin

DON'T...

wear heavy makeup

wear liquid eyeliner

wear fake eyelashes

wear red lipstick

DO...

wear some eyeliner, but don't make it super dark

wear ';sophisticated'; makeup

And for shoes PLEASE do not wear flip-flops.Flip-flops are meant for the beach not for job interviews. You might not want to wear some heels since your taking care of kids.Good shoes are flats.Everybody is wearing them this year and they're very comfy.

For your hair you can straighten it or curl a few strands of it.And don't put it in a bun that's too grandma-ish.
pull your hair back like your avatar.flip-flops should be okay. when you get there, greet the kids warmly then during the interview, keep your back strait and pay attention to what is happining.. dont look around the room or out the wimdow.
Well, I think the outfit you picked is good, but I dont know about flip flops. Maybe just some plain sneakers or flats or something. As for the hair, I would just have it really simple, pulled back or something, you never want to overdo it. I think make up is optional, and if you do wear any, it should be natural and not like, you know, sparkle everything.
Flip Flops will be fine! And don't wear a low-rise top, Or a shirt that shows your stomach or anything like that, because you want them to know you are responsible! for a top I'd wear something like this:

In any color with a long sleve t-shirt under it like this: http://www.ae.com/web/browse/product.jsp鈥?/a>

As for you make up just go natrual nothing trahy! And don't over do it! And for your hair you don't have to do anything special just wair it down or something like that!

Good luck on your babysitting interview!!!
You should probably stick to the natural look with makeup, some foundations and maybe lip gloss but that should be it. I think flip flops or sneakers are ok because it is just a babysitting job. Your hair should just be nice and presentable, combed straight, in a bun or a ponytail. Just don't look messy and you're all set.
Just be yourself, I am sure flip flops will be fine. Good luck.
If the flip flops are nice or cute and go with the outfit it's fine (part of looking good is looking your age, and wearing flip flops is something all my friends and I did all the time in high school....still do in college, actually)

Pull your hair back from your face and wear only natural looking-makeup (no colored eyeshadows, no overly-dark lipcolor, not too much eyeliner or mascara)

and wear jewelry! not too much, a necklace and some earrings or something like that.

If you really want to seem mature, wear a watch.

Ophelia is such a cool name btw.
you should wear comfturable shoes to show you are ready for anything and also go light on the makup and wear your hair in like a ponytail or sumthin like that
I would stay away from flip flops, just wear regular flats. Do not over do it with the make-up. natual, maybe just a little blush and eyeliner, and clear lip gloss. Parents dont want to see you looking like you are going out clubbing! Good luck!
Flip-flops would do. Or tennis shoes... Put yourself in their place. Hair maybe in ponytails, or up and back, maybe crimped. i'm sure you'll do fine with behind your ears... Good Luck!
Do natural makeup, and pull your hair back in a cute but ';stable'; way. Also, wear tennis shoes. Be dressed like you are ready for anything, like playing with the kids! It's hard to chase a kid around with hair flying in your face or flipflips tangling your feet.

Your outfit sounds good! glad you are taking the initiative to get this job, and not just flopping in. (-=

I hope you get the job!
Don't worry so much about it. Just wear what you are most comfortable in. Your outfit seems like a good choice. Maybe go with tennis shoes. And as for the makeup, go for just the basics such as foundation, mascara and lip gloss. I'm sure it will be fine. Good Luck!!
well your in high school.. trying to get a babysitting job. Dont try to hard. Flip Flops are fine, they most likely wont care what you wear. They'll care more about how you act with their kids and everything that goes along with babysitting. GOOD LUCK!!
i think u shouldn't be to mature..........

but probaly light color eye shadow and

a blush that kinda blends in with yo skin
