Best skin care and makeup for 31 year old woman?

As I get older, I find that I am getting more and more breakouts, especially around the chin area. I am not showing signs of wrinkles yet, but really want to prevent them. Any suggestions on cleansers, makeup, moisturizers, etc. for someone my age would be helpful. I am looking for a full beauty regimen to follow.Best skin care and makeup for 31 year old woman?

I am 34 and I use Bare Minerals (Bare Escentuals make up. This stuff works wonders I rarely get break outs anymore and when I do this stuff even though it is all powder covers them completely. The best thing, it feels and feels like you are wearing no makeup at all.

I use Philosophy's acne cream called h202 and there face wash called Purity. I am not a fan of there makeup though.

Both of these things you can get on qvc or there individual sites.
Epicuren or Von Natur. They are the best!

Many people get some type of breakouts as they get older. There is really no way of totally preventing wrinkles from appearing, no matter what the products you use are. Everyone will eventually get wrinkes whem they get older like around 60 or so. but here are some things you can do to make your skin tighter, firmer, and smoother.

* Every month get a facial to help keep pores tight and firm.

try the bare minerals makeup like on tv i use it and its the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BARE MINERALS... my mom is 46 and she has a couple of blemishes from breakouts but for two years she has been using this brand and she loves it... three simple powders help her look 10-20 years younger...
I have been using Oil of Olay for more than 20 years and I think it's the best stuff around! I also use Ivory soap to wash my face and put a mask on once or twice a month to help tighten the pores....
What is your skin care regime? You're lucky that you are so young so you can get a jump start on caring for your skin so you can prevent wrinkles and all those other dreaded signs of aging skin.

The best defense you have to prevent aging skin is sunscreen. (Each and every day, even in the winter!) Of course, keeping your skin well hydrated, a good balanced diet and sufficient sleep are also important.

For beginning a skin care regime start with a gentle cleanser, like Aveeno which has a soy base so it doesn't dry the skin. (Unless you have very oily skin most people only need to use a cleanser once a day).

Find a toner with antioxidants as an active ingredients like vitamin C, spin trap or copper peptides. Then use a glycolic acid gel with a concentration of between 8% to 10%. Glycolic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid, (AHA) which is a chemical exfoliant and will get rid of the dead skin cells that collect on the surface of the skin.

If your skin tends to be oily try a 1% to 2% beta hydroxy acid (BHA) instead. They are both also a great blemish preventor as well. Spot treat any blemishes with an OTC treatments.

Next, find a moisturizer with a vitamin A (retinol) active ingredient, and last apply a sunscreen. (Anthelios is the newest one just approved by the FDA and is non-greasy, light, and absorbs well.) SInce it isn't as cheap as some others, you can use it only on your face so it lasts longer.

The antioxidants will help protect your skin while helping it to heal and the glycolic acid and retinol will help prevent acne outbreaks and even out your skin tone while addressing any hyperpigmentation and other signs of aging skin.

Once or twice a week use a microdermabrasion scrub after giving yourself a facial steam for a deep pore cleansing.

At night, after toning again, use a rich nighttime emollient moisturizer. If you are interested in firming your skin, look for one with DMAE as an ingredient.

Here's another very comprehensive skin care regime: http://www.skincareresourcecenter.com/st鈥?/a>
I am a 45 year old woman with no wrinkles, crows feet or any other sign that gives my age. I have had an active skin care regime ever since I was 12, as I had acne, and 2) I was in the beauty industry.

It sounds like you have combination skin. Normal to dry on the cheeks, oily in the T-zone.. Your skin requires optimum balance.

In treating this type of skin you do not want to overdry your normal areas.

Avon Anew is an excellent treatment program.

You want to invest in the cleanser which has an effective gentle cleansing action. Its idea for your entire face.

Then you want to use the Intensive toner, its active igredients the salacilylic acid will help balance the oil/dry qualities of your skin.

During the day I would use the Anew self adjusting lotion with spf 15. It can be used alll over your face as it contains no oil.

Oil and moisture are not the same.!! You can hydrate your skin without adding oil- this is the key.

At night if you need it, or you live ina dry climate you may want to use the anew cream, not placing it on your chin. For your chin and spot treatments I d use a 2% benzol -perioxide cream, Avons Clearskin, Clearsil whatever you choose, every other day to prevent excessive dryness.

I only suggest Avon as the Research and Development is one of the most advanced in the world, so with a skin care product it will do what it says it will do!!

Never ever ever forego spf 15 or above. It does not matter whether is sunny or overcast as its the UV rays that are the most damaging and we cant see those. Opt for products that contain a minimum of 15 for daily wear, extended or prolonged sun exposure adjust accordingly.

Eyes, and lips are often the first area to show signs of aging. A good eyecreme-gel would be excellent for you. Lips you use a lip cream, but I have used my eye creams on my lips- as the skin is the same!!! During the day I wear lip balms with spf in them, under makeup.

I always wear sunglasses, as they are an effective (and stylish) way of keeping your eyes smooth and wrinkle free.

Learn to use q-tips in applying skin treatments, keep your hands away from your face, as the pulling and strecthing of or skin with our fingers and hands also contribute to wrinkling.

Estee Lauder, Lancome, Prescriptives, Chanel and Clinique all make excellent products that would address your skin care needs. Then can run upwards about 300. Chanel as much as 500. I know you can comparable if not superior products with the Avon Anew line. At a fraction of the cost.

Also develop a once aweek masque or gentle refining scrub for deep cleansing and skin sloughing.

Any acids, glyciolic, hylaronic, help in keeping skin young and even toned.
