I'm just wondering...
Please say both hair and makeup. Easy 10 points for the most tips and advice and habits you have! What are just random hair/makeup tips you've adapted over the years?
hair:
-always use a split end protector like the herbal essences long term relationship one, i love it now :)
-always carry a hairbrush in your bag, especially on windy days
-always have a few hairties on your wrist
-when your hair is uncontrollably frizzy, put it in a bun and use MAX hold hair spray. although it makes it crusty, it keeps it tamed :D
-never use a straightener on wet hair, it produces more frizz and flyaway hairs. even the ones made for wet hair, although they may straighten, they make your hair all over the place
-use a deep conditioning treatment every week if you use a lot of heat styling products
makeup:
-use a bit of white eyeliner on the inner corner of your eye to make you seem more awake
-to cover up scars and acne, use a green concealer then a regular skin toned concealer
-use chapstick, then lip gloss to make it last longer and keep your lips moisturized more
-to blend in powder and all makeup so you don't look like a porcelain doll, use a dime sized amount of lotion on your entire face- i was amazed it didn't mess it up but made it better!
-when applying eyeshadow, start dark at the bottom and then highlight the top all the way to under your eyebrows.
-use biore nose strips about twice a week to clean out your pores- it feels so nice afterwards :)What are just random hair/makeup tips you've adapted over the years?
Here's a few of mine:
For fuller lips: Poke your lips out while applying lip gloss. And make an oval shape after that.(apply two coats of lip gloss)
For fluffier soft hair: Have a blow dryer with these button options: Cool, Turbo, Hot. Now blow dry your damp hair upside-down moving your blow dryer back and forth at the tips of your dangling hair fast. To cool it off, use Cool button.
For basically perfect eyeliner make the sharpened tip just barley touching your eye, while the rest of it is rubbing against the part of skin where it's supposed to go.
For nice colored nails ALWAYS apply two coats.
For blonde's in the summer when you go swimming... put lemon juice in your hair while tanning for great color!
For curly natural-looking eyelashes apply petroleum jelly on the before you go to sleep. Looks great in the AM.
For better holding eyeshadow put on petroleum jelly or chap stick on before you apply it.
For a brand new look: try a high-pony tail.
For lip gloss that stays on dry but glossy all day: apply lip gloss, then get napkin and tap lips on it till' they are dry.
For coloring or highlighting hair: red, it does not stay in as long as it would in winter...it will fade.
For a great facial, i use either a toothpaste facial or a honey facial, they both leave skin smooth.
For perfect balance of face powder smooth over these parts of the face: cheeks, chin, nose, forehead.
For natural colored face powder smooth LIGHT color over face then pat a TANNED color on.
That's most of them for now that I can remember! Hope this answers your question! ~Gina

its good tyo use a leave in conditioner
brush your hair in the shower after apply shampoo and conditioner and your hair will be even softer and silkier feeling
never go cheap with hair productsgirl i have more but i wnat to answer other questions hope i helped some
I have learned that bathing the night before. I use some leave in hair conditioner (Dove), comb thru, then with my hair pulled forward I apply curling mouse. Wrap with towel for about 20 minutes before going to bed. Then I remove the towel and wrap my damp hair up in a bun (has to be up high) and go to sleep. During the night it might come undone that is fine. Just spray with Garnier Frutis the gel spray (I love it!!!) It give your hair a shiny wet look and freshens your curly-waves. Takes just minutes to spray and style. I take more time doing my make up than my hair..
well i personally hate when eyeshadow gets clumped on so instead of using the usual brush it comes with i use like a tiny blush brush and use it instead.
for eyeliner- sometimes i use a tiny little brush, stick it in mascara and spread it. it looks the same if u do it the right way
for shiny hair- i wash it and then be4 im done i rinse with cold water

-LESS IS MORE.
thats true with almost anything.
-never use a darker foundation in hopes of making you look tanner. it never works and you end up looking stupid.
-always use a very LIGHT coat of hairspray. never to the point where it looks and feels hard. looks VERYY bad.
-use the right shampoo for your type of hair. seriously. it works.
-only apply blush to your cheekbones.never below or above....
-use a lip balm or cream everyday, all day. helps keep lips moisturized and not chapped. haha.
-NEVER WEAR TOO MUCH EYELINER. it looks horrible if you completely outline your eye in black.
-but sometimes you will look best without eyeliner at all.
-mix up your hair styles.
-spend more on nice hair/makeup supplies. its worth it.
-natural is always the best. in my opinion.
Hair;
know ur hair type and ull kno how to take care of it.
If its thick and silky use shampoo for it.
If it is more delicate and thin, dont wash it everyday, as u might tare it.
Get ur hair cut every 3 months or so. [trimmed]
Try not to dye it.
While straightening or any other heat-related appliances; use a heat protectant.
if u hav split ends, use Leave-in conditioner.
.omg... endless! hahaha.
Make up; It really matters on what ur going for.
BIGGEST TIP! Dont Over do it!!!
