While using Neutrogena acne care products, should I not use makeup?

My skin is still uneven in tone and you can see the blemishes. That's the only reason I ask. Will it work better if I don't put on makeup, or will it work just the same with the light amount makeup on top? While using Neutrogena acne care products, should I not use makeup?
Where do you get the Shingles? Is it mostly around the eye area? I know how painful that can be, but it is brought on by stress so calm down and drink tea and get lots of rest. The rest of the stuff i said will be just fine for you even with the shingles. Just make sure you aren't using those acne products around that area. Get a nice toner from Origins, try the Comforting Solution formula. The Neutrogena may be a little too harsh. They can also recommend a good exfoliator like Modern Friction. This will help to even out the skin with a combination of rice, aloe and lemon. Make sure the foundation you get is matched to your skin, if it is too light, yea you will look sick. They are good and can match it exactly to your skin tone. Good luck again!

Feel free to use make-up HOWEVER make sure its non-comedogenic, contains NO mineral oil, and try to not use anything else that contains salicylic acid or benzol peroxide. I just read someone suggested that. When you are using those acne products, just stick to that, over doing it will make it worse and cause scarring.

Good foundations to try are anything with an SPF as the ingredients in those acne medications make the skin susceptible to the damaging rays of the sun, you don't want that! Try Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer, its a little expensive and if you don't want to spend that much, go for Origins Nude and Improved. They are both great, contain no mineral oils (which will clog your pores) and give you a good base to even out the skin.

Get a nice powder also to set the make-up and just give your skin a nice even complexion. Good luck! While using Neutrogena acne care products, should I not use makeup?
Try not using make up for about an hour or so than you can feel free to aply make-up lightly, you should try using things like cornstartch for a coverup as it has natural heeling qualities, look for other make ups that dontjust ocver up but heal
When you skin is acne prone, its best not to wear a heavy or liquid foundation-

If you must -use a foundation or tinted moisturizer with 2% Salicylic acid- check the labels of the products

Neutrogena also has ';Mineral Sheers Blush'; which is healthy for the skin and it shouldnt clog your pores or make the breakout worse and it will cover up your blemishes- or you can try ';neutrogena skin clearing oil free makeup';

While you wearing the foundation it can help clear out your breakouts at the same time =]

You can also try Bare Minerals- that works great too =]

I hope this helped =]
I have really sensitive skin and I use Bare Essential and it does not make me break out. It is pretty light and does not feel like make-up goo. Try it!!
dont use alot just use a little blush
Get powdered foundation. This isn't thick like creams and wash your face before bed and you should be ok.
if you think you shouldn't for a while or don't think its a good idea just don't wear make-up, wear a light make up perhaps just eye make-up or something that does 't irritate your skin there are products out there i think its a good idea to air your skin out when you get breakouts
it should still work even if you are wearing make up
It should be ok as long as you wash it all off before bedtime.

You should use gentle makeup or wear the bare minimum. I have stopped wearing makeup (time is an issue though) and it's because my skin is super sensitive. I just apply a moisturizer and some acne medication underneath. If I wear makeup, I use powder, eye shadow, mascara, and a little blush.
