Could mean that he thinks that you do not NEED to wear a lot of makeup. You have to ask yourself why these other girls are so popular. I'm pretty sure it isn't because of the make up they wear. He may see way more quality in you and doesn't like to see you wear so much make up because you don't need it. Let's face it, unless you are on stage or in front of a camera to make a living, a lot of make up is not necessary in real life. Make up is intended to bring out features that we want to be enhanced.
He probably thinks you wear too much make-up, and he's just a little more vocal about it.
Honestly many times I've seen girls with way too much make-up, its horrible. But its not my business to say anything of course...
Make-up isn't for everyone. It may look bad on one and good on others... maybe he genuinely finds them more attractive.
Maybe he doesnt care about those other girls, putting on too much make up can be very bad for the skin, cos the make up basically clogs and suffocates your skin, so u should only put on what is needed anyways.
and maybe he sees past your make up and likes what he sees and doesnt think you should hide it away??, those popular girls are probably really ugly under all that make up so its kinda of a relief that they hide it all, but he probably thinks ur very pretty and doesnt understand why so much make up??
I personally hate girls with too much make up, its like...just draw on the red nose and finish your transistion to a clown already lol!.
Maybe he thinks it looks bad on you. Is he straight or is he gay? If he is gay, maybe he's jealous of you. Maybe you look totally hot and are stealing all the boys away from him.
He cares about you. I know my friend tells me I have too much makeup on sometimes, and the rest of our buds practically load the gunk onto their faces. The dude just wants to make sure you look your best.
