I have dark circles under my eyes ALL THE TIME. I'm sure they're genetic, and not brought on by lifestyle/allergies/etc. They get exacerbated BIG TIME when I wear eyeshadow.
I'm trying to figure out a good way to make them less noticeable. I own some Clinique product for eye puffiness but its not really doing much. Help please? Either reducing them or covering them up would be really great. How to take care of undereye dark circles? (makeup/skincare experts needed)?
Here's 6 ways to help eliminate dark circles: 1. Get enough sleep. Try to go to bed a little earlier than you normally would. 2. Cucumber slices have a soothing effect on the eyes. 3. Use sunscreen every day and moisturize in the night preferably using a good under eye cream. 4. Drink plenty of water to hydrate the skin. 5. Apply cold compresses. 6. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Iron deficiency can be a cause for dark circles around the eyes. How to take care of undereye dark circles? (makeup/skincare experts needed)?
Hi There,
I have the same problem.
Basically if you use dark eyeshadow on your lids, it will make it look like your eye is bruised. I prefer to use a liquid eyeliner (apply it all along the top lid, dont worry if its messy... get an ear bud or Q tip and dip it in makeup remover and then make the line look perfect) and lots of mascara on the top to open and ';lift'; my eyes. Really make sure the lashes are going up. This will open your eye and lessen the effect of the undereye cirlces.
Additionally, either use a foundation or a concealer. MAC have really good products, and although it may be a little pricey, the make up artists will match your colour for you, so no guess work.
I use a mineral powder concealer that is yellow colored because my under eye circles are dark.
I just gently brush it on (use a thin brush to get exact coverage) %26amp; add some yellow around my nose %26amp; sometimes in my chin it looks darker there.
I prefer powder concealer over the creams %26amp; yellow sticks because powder doesnt stick in any creases %26amp; look fake.
If your skin has red tones you want to coverup, just brush or blend on a green concealer.
Avon has an undereye lighting creme for dark circles and to cover them up use and orange lipstick and put that everywhere that it's dark and then cover it up with a concealer (almay makes a good one that comes in a square tube, that kinda looks like a lip gloss). That should work. hope this helps. good luck.
Try using some major concealer under your eyes %26amp; covering that with a foundation a tone or two lighter than your skin tone. Then blend the lighter tones into your regular foundation if you use any.
i have a perfect home remedy that really works!
just take a spoon, and dip it in really cold water place it where the puffyness is, and i its all gone, or mostly gone
hope it works :]
