Would I take classes in a college? What I'm asking is where would I go for lessons.Where would one go to learn more about makeup and hair?
It depends on what your goal is.
If you want to be a stylist/aethetician/makeup artist and get in that line of work, then there is cosmetology school. This is not a university/college career path.
If you want to be a fashion designer then there are art schools, college and fine arts colleges/universities.
If you want to improve your own appearance, then there are any number of fashion magazines, beauty shops, and cosmetics counters who's clerks can help you find/refine your look and appearance.Where would one go to learn more about makeup and hair?
they have schools for that or if your still in high school you could go to a tech school
The people at Sephora and department stores like Nordstroms and Neimun Marcus know a lot. Just ask them a few questions, you'd be suprised.
You know I am not sure where you are located but you could just try typing in a search for the question you ask but add your location. It is a wonderful idea and I would like to go to one myself. I did find this site online that might be helpful !

Hope this was helpful ~~~
Good Luck !
You can look in the yellow Pages for schools that have ';Hair dressing School classes';.
You can also ask to volunteer or work part-time in a Hair Salon to learn some tools.
Note: the bottom one is an online course or you can learn from Youtube.
and 2nd from the bottom is a really good way to apply make-up (step by step)
3rd from the bottom: Teaches you about Hair
I dont know where u live, but u should work at ur local ULTA, i am a hairdresser there, and ive learned so much about makeup, now if u want to make a career out of it., u have to go to cosmetology schoo. (hair school but they teach makeup there) , then you take an state board exam, if u pass u get ur state license after completing your required hours (NY is 1000 hours)
Cosmetology School......
well my opinion is sometimes i kinda ask my hair dresser and she tells me about all these kinda sorts of what to do with your hair like use some kind of soap or conditioner
find a theatre and ask they gay guys
this is how i shop for my gf
and myself now giggles*
btw i have no problems with gay people

Im wearing a gold wedding dress for my wedding and doing my makeup and hair myself what should i do?
Im getting married in africa next year, my wedding dress is gold and so are my shoes, I have sholder lenght hair whitch i am growning for my wedding. I am wearing a vail without a tearria.
any one have any tips on how i shoud do my makeup and hair?
Any help will be good plz! thanksIm wearing a gold wedding dress for my wedding and doing my makeup and hair myself what should i do?
i wore gold dress too. I had shorter hair then bit shorter than shoulder length, but I had it flicked out and a tiara type pearl head thingy. Vail will mess up the hair eventually but I would curl it and get it pinned around the vail, if that makes sense.
Make up, I did too, used a lovely Number 7 trio, gold and brown, mainly gold and brown on the edges. Did quite light foundation as you will such a natural glow on the day. Kept my lips natural looking too.
Good luck, the natural glow will over-ride anything else I promise.Im wearing a gold wedding dress for my wedding and doing my makeup and hair myself what should i do?
It all depends what time of year you are getting married. We were in Kenya in Mombasa (bamburi beach hotel) and we met a couple who were there to get married, we actually ended up going to the wedding in the Whitesands Hotel! It was beautiful but very very hot! The bride had long blonde hair which she had piled up on her head in a very nice ';up do'; she just put some tinted moisturiser on and clear lip gloss and the sun did the rest! I was wearing a full length skirt and linen blouse and just wanted to jump in the pool (it was about 42 Celsius) The month was February, so as I said depends on when, cos the last thing you want is make up running down your face and looking smeary in the photo's! If you are spending a few days there before the wedding the sun will give you a natural glow (just don't forget the suncream)

How should i do my hair/makeup/and dress for court tommarow?
its a child custody battle between my husband and his ex wife. Nothing too dressy right? he said she usually wears some kind of ugly prom dress!! LOL!!!How should i do my hair/makeup/and dress for court tommarow?
I just had to go to court as a witness for someone breaking into my home.
I wore a button down white shirt, black pin stripe pencil skirt and wide black belt. For shoes, I wore black mary jane manolo's. For jewlery, I wore some pearl studs and a silver chain necklace with a single pearl on it. I wore my hair down with a black headband.
You could do that, or black slacks and a button down shirt, or maybe a sweater.
Good luck with the custody thing, those can be brutal. How should i do my hair/makeup/and dress for court tommarow?
best bet for court is to dress like you're going to a job interview. wear something conservative and modest, not too much makeup. your husband is being judged and you are too.
nothing too dressy....keep ur hair style simple and LIGHT on the make-up and a small cross necklace is always a plus in the court room.
Good Luck
Dress like you would to go to church or a wake. Very sedate and respectful. Nothing flashy.
Go classy...
Maybe a pencil skirt (I'm thinking a dark, like charcoal, gray), heel (not too high) and some sort of nice shirt.
Maybe a touch of delicate, pretty, silver jewelry, or pearls. Like someone else suggested, a cross is always a plus (but dont wear it if it would be falsely representing you)
Natural looking makeup.
For hair...You could either wear it up, or down in loose waves.
Good luck!!
I know custody hearings can be harsh (I've been through them myself..except I was the child)
you should wear some dress pant with a nice blouse shirt with some sexy shoes but not to sexy remember you are in court and you should wear your hair down with some curls and try to get you nails done have some nice earrings with a necklace but don't overdo it
LOL well I def. wouldn't wear a damn prom dress to court for sure lol thats funny....Ummm you should wear some nice lookin slacks and a nice button down shirt, wear your hair down or up, that wont matter just make it look nice...if you wear it down you could put some curls in it... good luck to you. :)
Dress conservatively. Knee length skirt with jacket, preferably black or dark in colour, buttoned up blouse. Always looks smart and classy.

I have a heart shaped face what makeup and hair styles would look good?
As I said before I have a heart shaped face and I have tried so many styles I want to find a good one to fit me thats unique. Plus I want something to emphize my beautiful eyes.I have a heart shaped face what makeup and hair styles would look good?
I just asked a girlfriend of mine who is a hair salon owner, the same question.. she said that the best cut is something that is really layered in the back, even razored if your brave and then face framing layers in the face... Im bored with my style and looking for a new one... trying searching google or whatever for ';medium layered cuts'; and youll get tons of sites that will help!
As far as make up is concerned, its more based on your eye shape than your face shape.
Go to www.marykay.com/ajohnson92187 (my website) and there is a link on there that says something like ';create personalized look'; and you can mess around with it and create a look for you and it will give you all the colors..
Hope it helps.

most of hair cuts go great with hertshaped face long or short but the shorter hair that hugs ur face looks best . as for make up it has to do with ur comixion eye and hir colurs not just shape of it , but thsi is endless timeless advice : more than lil touch is too much keep it simpey speiclaly at day and work res t night go wild baby
good luck
I have heard that bangs helps with the heart shaped face. As for the make-up, eye color and skin tone make a difference. Check out www.marykay.com/rebecca for a virtual make-over. That will give you color options and application techniques.

a nice bob will look really good with some highlights added. with your eyes. when using eyeliner line, 2/3 above eye; and 1/3 under eye, and use mascara to lengthen the lashes
I think your best bet will be to find a high quality salon and get some ideas from the stylists on staff in person. They should be able to show you photo examples and give you many different style options and might even have some coloring suggestions. After you have your new style, go to a local department store and browse the cosmetics counters. The trained, professional make up artists there can help you find all the right colors and application techniques that will work best for you. If you would rather not be in a public setting for your make up lesson, you should be able to find a representative for AVON ( www.avon.com ) or Mary Kay ( www.marykay.com ) in your area that can set up a private, one-on-one consultation in your home or at her's. Your options are really endless but I think it would serve you best to pick the brains of trained professionals for this.
only your hair stylist knows for sure so don't be afraid to ask!!!
clip your hair up to one side. part it from side off center, and swing it over to the other with a radiant clip.
I am not real sure about the make-up part. If I were you I would wear bright colors for make-up. Hearts make you feel happy and think of bright colors, reds, pinks, ect. As far as hair goes, I would go for a shorter cut. A long cut would make your face look too long..ya know?

Do you enjoy watching YouTube makeup & hair tutorials?
If so, what looks would you like to see more of?
Thanks everyone.Do you enjoy watching YouTube makeup %26amp; hair tutorials?
yesss, i do so much, i spend alot of time watching tutorials and i've subscribed to over 200 people baha :)
i'd definitley like to see...
cheaper alternative videos (every tutorial is mac mac mac...)
skins tutorials (a british tv program, a kind of series look on each character would be awesome)
an actual natural look (most are done by americans and they dont have to wear uniforms so its not exactly as 'natural' as intended)Do you enjoy watching YouTube makeup %26amp; hair tutorials?
I love watching them, it helps me with ideas of what makeup and hair styles to try. At the moment I like watching haul videos too, but I really like watching spring/summer makeup as the season has just started.#
Not so much pastel colours but bright aqua greens, pinks, gold, yellows, blues and fresh green looks.
When it comes to hair tutorials I like watching deep waves tutorials, curls and up-dos hairstyles with cute accessories.
I'd like to see more hair tutorials, that are more unique and don't require a straightener or a curling iron, like a more natural kind of hair style.
And for makeup tutorials, i would like to see more natural makeup that looks less cakey. More .. neutral colors that look good, and don't require eyeliner .. mascara. . ect. None of that liquid stuff. No foundation .. just some nice eyeshadow colors that go together and some nice powder/ veil that smooths and hides blemishes on face.
I so do! I'd probably like to see how to do a going out look- because you always see people doing natural makeup tutorials but how to do bold makeup with bright colours tutorials are never on there! I'd also love to see how to do a beach look so beach hair and beach makeup so you can look gorge while tanning!
I do - but they always use such expensive products and expensive makeup brushes.
I think there is to many tutorials on how to do eyes, even though, I find it hard not to watch as many as I can!
I would love someone to do a foundation and skin care review/tutorial for acne prone skin, I mean sure, there is already a few of them out there - but none of them ACTUALLY have SPOTS.
So I'd like for someone with acne to step on to the scene haha, as I'm getting a few spots around my chin lately!
LOVE IT!! I'd love to see more tutorials by actual propper makeup artists like pixiwoo rather than ammuteurs like pursebuzz and stuff. I'd also like it if the good propper makeup artists went through their looks in more detail rather than just assuming we all know exactly where to put each eyeshadow and stuff.
yeah, it would be cool to see more Hailey Williams looks. Sadly I can never afford any of the stuff everyone uses. I guess I need to save up. Also some 'fantasy' smokey looks would be good. Like fairyish stuff. Elegance. Casual works too.
Yeah I do. I don't wear heavy make-up so I'd like to see -
- a daytime look.
- a suitable for work look.
- a suitable for holiday/beach look.
And again for hair I'd like to see some easy-to-do styles for holiday, like beach waves, plaits, etc. x
Yess! Very much so, idk why c.c I watch
a LOT of fafinettx3 She's great. Also: dancer4life34, and the PrettyCommitteeXO, and coconutty222 are some of my favs XD

yes, i love watching the makeup tutorials!!
i would like to see more ways to bring out blue eyes with eyeliners and eyeshadows.
YES love it!!!!!! I learned how to curl my hair w/ the chi flat iron!!!
I'd like to see more of people applying eyeliner (liquid or gel liner etc)
Omg yes! I am thinking of starting my own because everyone uses makeup that I can't afford
Not make-up but i do love hair ones.
I want to see more quick and easy hair styles for school, to do in the morning :D
I would like to see more LIGHT makeup. It's all very cakey
Yeah, Pixiwoo + XSparkage are the best ones on there.
Not really.
Yes, hehe. I would like to see more of...cool hairstyles-that aren't too hard and don't need many products. xD
I would like to see all sorts of looks really...and yer i enjoy wachyn them =]]
